For Hudson Valley business owners

One hour. Your laptop. Leave with it done.

Four hands-on workshops where you build the thing you used to pay someone else for — your logo and flyer, a 30-second video, your website, your quotes — on your own accounts, with an instructor sitting next to you. No technical background needed.

Dates and times to be announced. Register and we'll tell you first.

Each workshop: 60-minute guided build + 30-minute open lab.

Why a bootcamp

The things you pay other people for, you can now do yourself.

Most local businesses pay someone else for the same handful of things: a website, a flyer, a logo, a monthly set of social posts, a video. Each one costs money, takes weeks, and every small change means asking — and waiting — again. Unlike an AI course, there is nothing to learn first. There is one thing to make, and you make it.

Build it

You make the thing in the room, not watch a demonstration of it. You type; the instructor points.

Own it

Everything lives on your own accounts — your Canva, your domain, your quote assistant. We never hold a client's asset.

Change it

Every workshop ends with you changing one real thing — the hours, a price, a photo — without help, in under two minutes.

The four workshops

Each one is named after what you walk out with

Take one, take two, take all four. Any order works; most owners start with Workshop 1 or Workshop 3.

Logo, Flyer, Menu and Signage

Never pay for a flyer again

Describe your business once. In an hour you have a logo, a print-ready flyer or menu, and a template you can change in two minutes — without a designer, without a print shop's design fee, and without waiting a week for the next revision.

You'll leave with

  • A logo (transparent and one-colour versions)
  • A letter-size flyer or a menu with your real hours, address and prices
  • One more size — counter sign, Instagram square or menu board
  • A Canva template you own and re-edit

The 30-Second Promo Video

From phone photos to posted, in one hour

Video is the format the platforms reward and the one most local businesses never make, because it used to take a videographer and an editor. Ten photos from your phone, a script written from three facts, captions, a licensed track, your logo on the last card. Posted from the room.

You'll leave with

  • A 30-second vertical video with captions and music, posted to Facebook, Instagram and Google
  • A three-second hook (three options to choose from)
  • A saved template and a shot list for next month's video
  • A format that works even if you never want to be on camera

Your Website

Live at your own address, in one hour

The real cost of a website was never the invoice. It was emailing the web person every time the hours changed. Build a one-page site from your own words and photos — who you are, what you do, hours, address, call and text buttons — publish it, connect your own domain, and change it yourself before you leave.

You'll leave with

  • A phone-first, one-page site, opened on your own phone in the room
  • Your own domain, connected and secured
  • The address on your Google listing and Facebook page
  • The two-minute update routine, written on one card

Quotes and Estimates by Voice

Quote from the truck

Every contractor, cleaner and caterer writes quotes at the kitchen table at ten at night, and every one has lost a job because the quote took three days. Build your price book once; after that, describe the job out loud and a priced, branded PDF quote — and a text to the customer — is ready in a minute.

You'll leave with

  • Your price book, with one hard rule: never invent a price
  • A quote assistant that turns 45 seconds of talking into a finished PDF
  • Two real quotes, sent from the room
  • A five-day follow-up text for customers who haven't replied

How it works

One hour of building, with help beside you

1

Three days before

You get a one-page prep sheet: which free accounts to create, what to gather, what to photograph — so the hour is spent building, not signing up.

2

The 60-minute build

You type, the instructor points. Classes of 8–10 with an instructor and a helper, so nobody is left behind.

3

Stay and finish

Not done at the hour? The room stays open for 30 more minutes and the instructor stays with you. Then the change drill: one real edit, alone, in two minutes.

Questions

Common questions

When is it, and how do I sign up?

Dates and times are being finalised. Register your interest — no payment, no commitment — and we'll email you when the schedule opens. People on the list hear first and get priority on seats.

I have no technical background. Will I keep up?

Yes. The workshops were designed for exactly that owner. You type, the instructor points, and the room holds eight to ten people so nobody is left behind.

What if I don't finish in the hour?

The room stays open for another thirty minutes and the instructor stays with you. Most owners finish inside the hour because the prep sheet puts the account sign-ups behind them before they arrive.

Why do I need my credit card?

For your own subscriptions — ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro, Canva, a domain name. They go on your accounts, under your name, and you can cancel them any time. We never hold your logins or your assets.

Can I send my manager, my spouse or my daughter?

Yes. Whoever will actually update the website or post the video should be the person in the chair. Send the business credit card with them for the accounts.

Is my business information safe?

You use business accounts, not personal ones. Customer card numbers, Social Security numbers and bank account numbers never go into any AI tool — we say it in every workshop. AI output is a draft you check before it prints, posts or sends.

Do I need to take them in order?

No. Workshop 1 gives you the logo and colours the others use, so it is the natural first step, but any order works. If you start elsewhere, you write your "Brand DNA" note in the first five minutes.

Will I get the templates and files?

Everything you make is yours, on your accounts and your laptop, plus a one-page routine card for each workshop and a Workshop Completion Card naming what you built.
